WELCOME

The Director and Staff of the Delaware State Fire School thank you for your interest in the Emergency
Response Training Programs held at our facility and would be most pleased to welcome you and your
personnel to our classes.

We are quite proud of the Fire, Rescue, Hazardous Materials Technician and Emergency Care classes
that we offer to assist you in training your Response Teams. We strive to maintain a low student
instructor ratio so that all students actively participate in training. Our facility provides a unique
opportunity for your personnel to become very proficient at emergency response skills in all
disciplines. Our blend of theory training, held in our state-of-the-art classrooms and hands-on
training, held on our specially designed drill ground pads, insures the finest available learning
opportunity for your teams.

Located at a convenient distance from both Philadelphia and Baltimore airports, we are also in an
area, which provides a wide variety of hotel and dining possibilities for a pleasant stay. Our good
highway infrastructure makes travel to and from the school a relatively easy task.
